Twenty-six transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Business representatives from Afghanistan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied petroleum gas (Turkmennebit) and ECO-93 gasoline (Turkmenchemistry) for foreign currency.
Cotton yarn, cotton fiber, cotton fiber, and purified (refined) cottonseed oil were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries included Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland.
The total value of the transactions exceeded USD 58,571,000.
Domestic businessmen purchased raw fabric for the domestic market for a total of 885 thousand manats.
