The President of Turkmenistan approved a proposal to improve the oil and gas sector

On July 3, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the measures being taken to organize the oil and gas sector's operations in line with current realities.

As reported, the fuel and energy sector's material and technical infrastructure is being continuously strengthened, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of necessary equipment for production in this sector. Successful completion of these tasks allows for the equipping of the complex's facilities with modern equipment and the optimization of production processes.

In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state's consideration.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the country's ongoing efforts to develop the oil and gas sector and strengthen its material and technical infrastructure. Having approved the proposal to improve the operations of this complex, the head of state addressed a number of specific instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
