The Book of the Hero-Arkadag The Meaning of My Life Published in Russian

A presentation of the book of the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov The Meaning of My Life, published in Russian, took place in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 17.
Speaking at the event, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan A. Blokhin said that the new philosophical and literary work combined the memoirs of the Hero-Arkadag about significant stages of his life, valuable thoughts and reflections. A special place is given to the history of the country, national spiritual and moral values and noble traditions, following which Turkmenistan has gained high international prestige and modern achievements.
As it was emphasized, owing to the translation of the book The Meaning of My Life into Russian, the public of the friendly country had an opportunity to discover Turkmenistan even more.
In the speech of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, the head of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Natalia Gherman, it was noted that the book told not only about the heritage, but also about the modern achievements of Turkmenistan. The new work provides an opportunity to better understand the underlying motives guiding Turkmenistan in its activities on the world stage and the country’s role, goals and objectives in the global coordinate system.
As it was highlighted during the presentation, the philosophical views of the Arkadag were also revealed through his deep gratitude and love for parents and commitment to family values. These views have largely become a moral and ethical compass in the life of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The enormous cognitive and educational value of the new book, primarily for the younger generation, was stressed.
The publication of the new edition is a significant event in the history of good-neighborly relations between Turkmenistan and Russia that are strengthening with every passing year and the recognition of the significant contribution of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the development of international cooperation in the modern era.
