President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the government meeting on Friday ordered to ensure a high organizational level of the business forum “Turkmenistan – United Arab Emirates”, which will be held on June 25 in Ashgabat. The business forum "Turkmenistan - United Arab Emirates" will be a significant event aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various spheres of the economy.

In the first five months of 2024, the volume of "black gold" extracted from the active wells of the oil and gas production department "Galkynyşnebit" of the state concern "Türkmennebit," operating in the western region of the country, amounted to about 24.9 thousand tons.

Specialists of the Kukurtli linear production site of the management «Lebapgazchykarysh» of the state concern «Turkmengas» show high skill and diligence. Thanks to their joint efforts, the completed reporting period of the current year is again marked by success.

The labor collectives of the departments of the trust “Nebitgazduyplyabatlayysh” of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” also contribute to the large-scale development of the oil and gas industry. They carry out effective work at the fields in the Balkan region. Due to the overhaul of wells that have exhausted or completely stopped production, these enterprises for the reporting period of the current year provided additional production of about 59,000 tons of «black gold» and 28.4 million cubic meters of «blue fuel».

A significant contribution to the successful implementation of the Program for the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan for the period until 2030, as well as to ensuring energy security and stable economic development of the country, is made by the team of the trust “Nebitgazburavlayysh” of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.

Employees of the State Concern "Turkmengas" are making every effort to fulfill the tasks set by the head of state to increase the volume of natural gas production in the country. Of course, for domestic gas workers, this year, passing under the motto “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” like previous ones, will be marked by enormous labor successes.

In June, drillers of the Turkmengasburawlayysh department of the State Concern "Turkmengas" received an industrially significant influx of natural gas from the 259th production well of the Galkynysh gas field.

In Turkmenistan, a sacred holiday for the entire Muslim world, Kurban Bayram, was celebrated on a wide scale, which is held annually for three days at the state level. Vibrant musical and song celebrations and social and cultural events were organized at various venues, in the cultural and entertainment centers of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, in all cities and towns of the country. An integral part of this national holiday are traditional national dishes; sadaka is given in every home, guests are received and treated to festive dishes, expressing best wishes to each other.

During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which was held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on June 14 via a digital system, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the progress of the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of work at the production facilities of the State Concern “Turkmengas”.

Last week, 38 transactions were registered at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024), Chairman of the Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz Sanzhar Zharkeshov and Chairman of the Board of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller signed agreements on organizing the transportation of Russian natural gas to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan through the territory of Kazakhstan, the press service reports national companies.

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met on June 11 with the executive director of Dragon Oil, Ali Rashid Al-Jarwan, TDH reports.

A scientific and practical conference “Scientific foundations for the development of the oil and gas industry” was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute (NGRI) of the State Concern “Turkmengas”. The forum, organized by the primary trade union organization and the women's council of the institute on the occasion of Science Day, widely celebrated in the country, brought together specialists and researchers working in the structures of the state concerns "Turkmengaz", "Turkmennebit", and the state corporation "Turkmengeology".

On the occasion of Science Day, annually celebrated in Turkmenistan, a scientific and practical conference organized by the institute and the Balkanabat Petroleum Secondary Vocational School of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" was held within the walls of the Institute "Nebitgazylmytaslama" of the State Concern "Turkmennebit".
