Unique competitions combining traditional and digital sports were held at the Nesil Children's Center of the State Concern "Turkmengas", between children's health centers located in the town of Geokdere.

The tanker "Zangilan" from the port of Aladzha of the international seaport of Turkmenbashi performed its first voyage, delivering Turkmen oil to the Sangachal terminal in Azerbaijan, the press service of ASCO reports.

Registration is open for the 29th International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024” (OGT 2024), which will be held in Ashgabat on October 23-25, 2024. The event is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

On July 16, 2024, during a two-day seminar organized by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, in which about twenty-five representatives of the state concerns Turkmengaz and Turkmenneft, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and other interested departments took part, its participants became familiar with the existing legislation in the field of reduction greenhouse gas emissions, including methane.

On July 15, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of industry enterprises for six months of the current year, held under the motto “The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Fragi,” were discussed.

On July 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the work of economic sectors for six months of the current year were summed up and the progress in implementing the adopted programs for the socio-economic development of the country was discussed. The agenda included identifying long-term goals for the second half of the year, as well as personnel issues, TDH reports.

Last week, an explanatory meeting on issues of a healthy lifestyle, road safety and legal culture was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern "Turkmengas". The event was attended by representatives of the Nebit-gaz newspaper, the Natural Gas Research Institute, specialists from the Design Work Department, the Department of Food Supply for Workers and Services, the Department of State Analysis of Investment and Technological Projects of Industrial Facilities of the Oil and Gas Complex of the Turkmengaz State Concern.

The oil and gas industry, being one of the leading sectors of the national economy, plays an important role in strengthening the country's economic independence. The key aspect of the fundamental reforms in the fuel and energy complex implemented during the Renaissance of the new era of a powerful state is the effective use of the potential of the oil and gas industry, diversification of the sales market and radical modernization of infrastructure.

On August 26-28 this year, the city of Kazan will host the largest exhibition of the petrochemical industry in Central Asia, which will bring together leading specialists from Russia and the countries of the region.
